"I would rather be loved because real love, u are free."
" FREEEEE as a bird!!!! I'd rather my partner be "passionate" not compassionate" AND I want my lover to be totally capable of living without me....."
"Loved, it's the most natural emotion to want need and desire. Not only to want but to give also"
" Love, what's love got to do with it??? I want to be FREE Man. Free to decide if and when I love you. Free to do my thang. And free to tell you to kick rocks if necessary. And if you love me, you will understand. Word UP :) "

My opinion! Real love is freedom. It doesn't hold you up or tie you down. it gives you power to be you and to be receptive to all that you encounter. Not saying that you are not held accountable, we are all accountable to someone or something. However, love and freedom go hand in hand. Can you really have one without the other?? Yea, you can. Question is , do you want to have one without the other. Freedom is love, love is the ultimate freedom.
I think that you have to have both. Love and Freedom. Both are basic necessities. It's a proven fact that those who have love, live longer. For real, look it up! But it does not have to be the love of a significant other. It could be love from your family, your child, your friends. Love is LOVE when it is REAL and when it's REAL, you have freedom to be yourself in it without worrying if LOVE will be around tomorrow.
I definitely think it's important to be loved. As it relates to freedom, it really depends on the context and the situation. What are you trying to be freed from? When someone truly loves you they free you to be who you are and do you. In my opinion the two (love and freedom) should come as a packaged deal.
Hard question, and one that I cannot give an honest answer to @ the moment. It appears that love is the answer to feeling free, but then again there's nothing which compares to actually being free.
I might have to ponder the question.
Neither. Learning to love is the most important hing. Not loving the way the world loves, but learning to love others inthe Spirit as God loves us. After all God is love. Love is not an emotion or feeling, really. Love is an action.Love is a verb. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart." "Love one another." Love is I Corinthians 13. Loving others must be done without condition or expectation or return. Love is loving some folks who ain't so lovable. When one understands that, you will be set free!

In my opinion, freedom is more important than being loved by another. If you have self-love, and that of God, you'll be ok. On the other hand, if you live in a world without freedom, the restrictions that exist within the society could be the very things that prevent you from the feeling of complete self-fulfillment. Restrictions like not being able to express yourself, your beliefs, your preferences or not being prohibited to carry out aspirations could lead to feelings of incompleteness.
I feel that if you're loved it is more important then freedom. When you loved you feel taken care of. But the love I'm referring to comes from God. He ultimately can show you what true love really is and with that you will feel free....
